Johnson Expands Management Team, Establishes Texas Office

Johnson Development, a leading healthcare real estate firm, announces the expansion of its leadership team and the establishment of a regional office in Dallas, Texas. Milton Johnson, President, announced the appointment of Steve Wheeler as Senior Vice President of Development to head up the new Dallas regional office. “We are extremely pleased to have Steve join our team as we continue to grow our presence in the Southwest U.S.”, said Johnson.

Mr. Wheeler will oversee Johnson’s Dallas, Texas office where his focus will be on helping hospitals and health systems plan and execute new facility development strategies.  In addition, Mr. Wheeler will also coordinate with the firm’s advisory services, project management and property management teams to assist clients with their broader real estate needs.

Mr. Wheeler has over sixteen years of experience in healthcare real estate development, leasing and management.

Mr. Wheeler holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University.  Prior to joining Johnson, Wheeler was with Duke Realty’s Healthcare group in Dallas, where he was responsible for over one million square feet of healthcare developments and acquisitions. Mr. Wheeler and his wife Amy have two children and live in Dallas, Texas.
