In May, UAB Medicine broke ground on a new inpatient rehabilitation replacement facility in downtown Birmingham, AL. We are providing Project Management services to this 350,000 SF, 11-story project, which will replace the existing Spain Rehabilitation Center. The new building will hold 78 rehabilitation beds, 28 acute care beds, and focus on neurorehabilitation for patients following stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord surgery. It will also offer advanced services to patients with epilepsy.
