April saw our project management fully engaged in the delivery of the new UAB Medical West Hospital replacement hospital in Bessemer, Alabama. The new facility includes a 412,000 SF, 9-story hospital with 200 beds and a 127,000 SF, 5-story medical office building. The full-service hospital features a new surgical and endoscopy suite, state-of-the-art imaging technology, and more intensive care beds. Our team, including Andrew Gilbert, Carol Burnett, Heather Hall, and Gary Wilkinson, Jr., is responsible for program management including all activation and transition planning services. The hospital is scheduled to open in 2024.
