In June, Johnson partnered with Pinehurst Surgical Clinic and FirstHealth of the Carolinas on the development of the Southern Pines Orthopaedic Surgery Center at the Morganton Park North Medical Campus. The 24,000 SF facility is scheduled to open in spring 2026.
Led by Stuart Schmidtke and Parhum Nankali, Johnson is providing project management and development oversight, coordinating across clinical, design, and construction teams to support advanced orthopaedic procedures, efficient patient flow, and a high-quality patient experience. The new center will feature multiple procedure suites, pre- and post-anesthesia bays, and state-of-the-art technology to deliver specialized, cost-effective care close to home.
