In August, we joined UAB Medicine to celebrate the opening of the new Inpatient Rehabilitation Pavilion, a state-of-the-art 11-story hospital that includes Spain Rehabilitation Center services. William Simms provided delivery oversight for this 78-bed facility designed to support patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other conditions.
The pavilion features advanced therapy technology, open gyms, private therapy rooms, a rooftop garden, a simulated city street, and more—creating an environment that fosters functional activity, meaningful hobbies, and comprehensive neurorehabilitation care.
