Johnson Development, a leading healthcare real estate firm, announces the expansion of its management team and service offerings. Milton Johnson, President, announced the appointment of Gary Wilkinson as Senior Vice President of Project Management. “We are extremely pleased to have Gary join our team and grow our scope of services”, said Johnson.
Mr. Wilkinson will oversee the delivery of project management and transition services to hospitals and health systems. “This is a natural extension of services to our clients,” stated Perry White, Principal and Chief Operating Officer. Johnson currently plans, develops, finances and manages medical office buildings and ambulatory care facilities across the country.
Wilkinson’s focus will be on helping hospitals and health systems plan and execute new facility development as well as large scale facility renovations and expansions. In addition, Wilkinson’s team will assist clients with hospital and clinical readiness, as well as, transition planning services.
“As you might imagine, the process of designing and constructing a complex healthcare facility is a complicated and risky project” said Wilkinson. The additional coordination of staff training, equipment selection, information technology coordination and licensing is incredibly time consuming and can make or break any construction project. “Our team offers a complete solution to help our clients enjoy greater success with any project,” added Wilkinson.
Wilkinson is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. Prior to joining Johnson, Wilkinson was with the Healthcare Group of CBRE. Wilkinson spent 11 years with KLMK prior to its being acquired by CBRE. Wilkinson and his wife Rachel have three children and live in Birmingham, Alabama.
