The Hub Breaks Ground in Augusta, GA

We recently broke ground on two facilities in Augusta, Georgia, including a new headquarters for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the CSRA and the new Hub Community Innovation Center. These projects represent the initial phase of the Medical College of Georgia Foundation, Inc.‘s revitalization of Augusta’s Medical District and the surrounding Harrisburg and Laney Walker neighborhoods.

The Boys & Girls Clubs building will provide educational support, youth mentoring, college prep, workforce development, and other community services. The Hub will be home to a number of community nonprofits focused on improving access to healthcare, literacy training, and healthy eating.

These projects are made possible through the generosity of the Augusta National Golf Club, AT&T, IBM, and Bank of America, along with additional funding from donations and grants.

We are proud to be part of building a better community for Augusta and the CSRA!
