“From lease award, Johnson was found to be a very professional and highly competent Lessor. I found their management of the design process to be exceptional. They listened to the VA’s end users and the CFM managers, incorporating the necessary project requirements into the design.

During the build out process, the Lessor managed the unique circumstances placed upon them by the pandemic and still completed the project ahead of schedule without experiencing supply chain issues, which were very common during this point in history. The Lessor should be commended for their leadership to meet their contract obligation and did not seek additional time or compensation for their efforts.

The Lessor’s management team was very cooperative with the VA team and that collectively made the contract experience a very collaborative effort and team approach to solving problems for VA and the Lessor. The Lessor always kept the VA highly informed and involved in the process and provided cooperative solutions to VA concerns.
